WHAT MOTHERHOOD MEANS TO ME:

I absolutely LOVE being a Mother. It’s not the easiest task but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Being a mother gives me a small glimpse of how Jesus can love us to the depth that he does. I knew I loved each child from the womb before I ever knew the sex, before we ever met, before the late night cries, and before the bumps and bruises that growing brings. I knew from the womb that I would give my life for each if I ever needed. I’m humbled at the experience He allowed me to have. To actually share in His miracle of bringing life into the world is a blessing too great for words to describe accurately, but I am ever so thankful He allowed me to participate. ~ Donna Brassell

“Motherhood to me is a crazy roller coaster ride. It is full of joy and disappointment, laughter and tears, fun and frustration. I have been given precious little lives to care for and I am completely inadequate for the job. Motherhood is leaning on Jesus for wisdom, discernment, understanding, patience and in my case a sense of humor as I interact with my kids. (I tend to be  naturally a serious minded person. I have to pray to be funny for my kids’ sake.) Most Importantly, Motherhood is, asking Jesus for Grace to love my kids the way they should be loved.”  ~ Venida Andrews

Being a mother means that you love your children unconditionally and accept them for who they are, not who you want them to be. I am also a mother to some ladies in my church, they call me Mama and I lOVE it! You don’t have to have children to be a loving mother to someone. ~ Diana Nesbitt

Motherhood has taught me to love unconditionally without expecting anything in return. ~ Ingrid Williams

One of the BEST human experiences to me is Motherhood. I love and enjoy my children in good and bad times. Once a mom, Always a mom.  ~ Ann Warren

The things I love most about being a mother are: When my daughter takes my arm and we walk arm in arm while shopping – When my daughter tell me she likes hanging out with me and wants to do it more often- and when I’m listening to old songs on the radio and my son dances with me. My Children are my greatest accomplishment and they both complete my life.  ~ Carla McKee
