On Sunday March 24th Pastor Timothy Brassell, Lead Pastor at NLF and his wife Donna Brassell were honored for their 25 years of devoted service to GCI. The Celebration was led by Jeffrey Broadnax, Regional Director of The Northeastern US at Grace Communion International – GCI.
Pastor T (as he is mostly called) and Donna were presented with a plaque, and 25-year watches by Pastor Jeffery Broadnax, which serve as tangible symbols of appreciation for unwavering dedication, steadfast leadership, and tireless commitment to God’s ministry in GCI.
The ceremony concluded with refreshments and fellowship following the service.
Diana “Mama” Nesbitt
In the Lord’s perfect timing, will, and love for our lives, He has allowed another one of our members, Diana “Mama” Nesbitt, to pass more fully into the direct presence of Jesus.
As her daughter Monique Wallace has written:

In the Lord’s perfect timing, will, and love for our lives, He has allowed one of our members, Pastor Peter Dickinson, who has been suffering for a while, to pass more fully into the direct presence of Jesus. As His wife has publicly written:

After a brief struggle with inoperable stage 4 lung cancer in May, longtime member Clarice Carter passed away today, August 2, 2024. She was 85 years old. Here she is pictured with her son Greg and family.
Dear Carter Family, Close Friends, and Associates,
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved sister in Christ, Clarice Carter. Clarice was a cherished member of our church community for many years, known for her unwavering faith in Jesus and her warm, hospitable spirit. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and her friendly nature made everyone feel welcome and loved. While we mourn her loss, we find comfort in the hope of the Resurrection, assured that through Christ, we will one day be reunited with her in eternal glory.
